Ian A. Waitz is the Vice Chancellor of MIT, responsible for leading and integrating the offices for graduate and undergraduate education, and is the Jerome C. Hunsaker Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Before his appointment as Vice Chancellor, he served as Dean of the MIT School of Engineering from 2011 to 2017.
