Campus-wide Photo Contest Showcases MIT's Global Connections

Office of the Dean for Undergraduate Education

Casa de CampoHow does the MIT community engage in learning, research, service, and work around the world? That's the question GECD posed this summer, in partnership with MISTI, UROP, D-Lab, and the Public Service Center. To help map MIT's many international connections, the partner organizations are sponsoring a campus-wide photo contest open to students, faculty, and staff. Submissions to date are posted on the MIT Global Tumblr and include images from all corners of the globe, from an "epic camel selfie" taken in Jordan to a spectacular sunrise in South Africa.

Prizes will be awarded in four categories, including one for the image shared most on social media with the hashtag #etmundus. Interested in submitting photos from your global adventures? Find all the details in the contest guidelines, and be sure to send in your image(s) by Tuesday, September 2. Winners will be announced at the Go Global Fair on September 9.
