OME Launches New Website

In early February, the Office of Minority Education (OME) launched a new dynamic, user-friendly website.   The new site is focused on increasing awareness of OME’s programs and increasing student participation in those programs and related events.  The site also introduces a new, colorful visual identity for OME.

OME reorganized and refreshed the content of the site and added new interactive features:

  • The Faces of OME spotlights current students and alumni and gives their perspective on the programs and services of OME.
  •  An Events calendar highlights upcoming events and allows students to RSVP directly from the event description.
  • Through the Staff page, students get to know the staff and the programs they manage.
  • A visible Ask OME a question and Suggestion Box on the homepage encourage current and prospective students, and others, to engage with the office.
  • Program and Services descriptions now include dynamic content, such as videos.
  • All pages are social media enabled so that users can easily share content from any page on the site through Facebook, email, Twitter, or Linkedin.
